Meow meow everyone, welcome back to Mydondon’s weekly recommended playlist, yay yay yay! Sorry, I… I got swamped again. There has honestly just been way too much to do lately. Hopefully I can hand in my homework on time from now on~~ So today let’s keep going with our absolutely classic, super good-sounding songs! This song is “Summer” by “Calvin Harris.” In this world, sometimes a single song can carry you back into the past, as if time were rewinding, just like this one. “When I met you in the summer, to my heartbeat sound, we fell in love as the leaves turned brown.” When I met you in the summer, hearing the sound of my heartbeat, our love fell like the autumn leaves. “Summer” is a song full of sunshine and energy, and every time I hear it I can’t help thinking back to that one special summer. It’s a joyful tune that brings endless memories and happiness. It’s proof of the magic of music, how it can whisk you back to the good old days in an instant.

“Feel So Close” by “Calvin Harris”
The second song is also a Calvin Harris track, “Feel So Close.” This one, presented by “Calvin Harris,” makes you realize that music must have some kind of magical power that can carry us back to those unforgettable moments, just like this song. “I feel so close to you right now, it’s a force field. I wear my heart upon my sleeve, like a big deal.” Right now I feel so close to you, like a powerful electromagnetic field, and I lay bare the feelings buried deep inside, as if it were the most important thing in the world (?). “Feel So Close” is a song bursting with energy and emotion. Every time I hear it I feel a kind of connection, as if there’s a mysterious force field between me and the one I love. The sincere emotion in the lyrics and the infectious melody have made this one of my all-time favorites.

“Side to Side” by “Ariana Grande”
Next up is “Side to Side” by “Ariana Grande.” People, places, and things in this world often give you this strange sense of familiarity, like when you’re walking alongside that one special person and everything suddenly becomes so much fun, and this song is exactly like that. “I’ve been here all night, I’ve been here all day, and boy, you got me walkin’ side to side.” I’ve been here all night, I’ve been here all day, and baby, you’ve got me walking right by your side. “Side to Side” is a lively, rhythmic song that always reminds me of those heart-racing moments. The melody, the lyrics, and Ariana Grande’s vocals never fail to make me feel happy and excited.

Next up is “This Is What You Came For,” presented by “Calvin Harris.” Um, let me just say upfront, I’m not deliberately only picking his songs, it’s that I only just found out all of these are actually his! This song can lift us into a whole new realm, that world where someone can hold the palm of your hand. “Baby, this is what you came for, lightning strikes every time she moves.” Baby, this is what you came for, lightning strikes every time she moves (?), I feel like my translations are getting weirder and weirder. “This Is What You Came For” is a captivating song, full of energy and life. Every time I hear it, I feel a jolt like an electric shock.

“Swish Swish” by “Katy Perry”
Next up is “Swish Swish,” presented by “Katy Perry.” “Cause you’re a joker, and I’m a courtside killer queen.” Because you’re a joker, and I’m a courtside killer queen. The whole point of this song is its sense of rhythm, the kind that makes you want to move along with the beat. “Swish Swish” is exactly that kind of song, full of rhythm and confidence, and every time I hear it I feel brave and unbeatable. Its lyrics are packed with challenge and courage, reminding us not to be afraid to chase our own dreams and to forge straight ahead.

This song is “Havana,” presented by “Camila Cabello.” It’s a song that can take us far away from reality. “Havana, ooh na-na, half of my heart is in Havana, ooh na-na.” Havana, ooh na-na, half of my heart is in Havana, ooh na-na. No, hear me out! That’s just how the lyrics actually go, it’s not my fault! But anyway, “Havana” is a song full of rich emotion, and every time I hear it I feel as though I’ve been transported to a sunny Cuban city. Its melody and Camila Cabello’s voice create this enchanting atmosphere that’s impossible to resist.

Last song! My arms are wide open, catching fire as the wind blows. “Runaway (U & I)” is a song bursting with passion and energy, and every time I hear it I feel excited and incredibly free. The melody, the lyrics, and Galantis’s musical talent come together to create an irresistible kind of energy.
