The hidden ancestor is the Dismayed Hunter. They are hiding behind the big tree outside the first gate; find them and interact to finish the quest.
Step-by-Step
- Enter the Hidden Forest through the portal and proceed to the first large gate (the Forest Clearing area).
- Near the first gate, find and interact with the Hide’n’Seek Pioneer. The screen will fade and a quest prompt appears, indicating the hide-and-seek game has begun.
- When the countdown ends, head to the gate—but do not go through. Turn left to circle to the outside of the gate.
- Look for the prominent big tree outside the gate; the Dismayed Hunter is hiding behind it. Approach to reveal them.
- After revealing the spirit, you’ll see a completion pop-up. To claim the seasonal candle immediately, return to the Hide’n’Seek Pioneer and confirm.
