This Channel Is the Reason YouTube Shorts Should Exist
Intro
“One TikTok sound and your parents’ parenting goes down the drain.” That’s what everyone says, but honestly, I still find myself scrolling through short videos every now and then, because Shorts always have this magnetic pull that sucks you right in, and once you start it’s pretty hard to stop. By the time you snap out of it, dozens of minutes have already gone by. This happens to me all the time. As much as I love watching them, I have to admit that some of the videos are genuinely brain-dead, sometimes completely illogical, full of cringey amateur “acting,” and ultimately pointless.
For example, the YouTuber Ceylan (錫蘭) put together a special compilation of all those utterly nonsensical clips. Go check it out if you can. I genuinely can’t help but wonder what’s going through the minds of the people who actually believe that stuff.
Besides all that misinformation, there are also plenty of videos that make no sense at all, plus some creators who clearly have no idea what the word RESPECT means. But recently I stumbled onto a pretty solid channel. You could even call it a breath of fresh air in the world of TikTok and Shorts. The more I watched, the more it reminded me of a foreign version of Zhiqi 77 (志琪七七). It’s called Nas Daily. Nas Daily is a channel from overseas, and its whole mission is to introduce you to the amazing, fascinating people of the world.
One minute a day to broaden your horizons. It might not help your day-to-day life all that much, but it does let you discover plenty of new and surprising things you never knew about.
He Raised 1 Billion for India With a Single Tweet

Take this guy, for instance, who raised 1 billion for India with just a single Twitter post. Sandeep is a co-founder of Polygon, a major crypto company. When COVID first broke out, he decided to do something for India, so he put out a tweet asking the crypto community for help. Within a day he’d raised 10 million, and after that he even got the backing of some well-known company executives. With that money, he provided countless forms of support for India, all from a single post.
Of course, alongside the one-minute shorts, they also do longer, full-length features.

The Farm of the Future: Growing Crops More Efficiently and Reliably
This farm is what the future of farming looks like. Traditional farms often lose crops to spoilage, and farmers take losses, all because of weather and countless other factors. A group of people figured that if you could grow crops indoors, stacking them vertically plant on top of plant using science, you’d save space, skip the chemical fertilizers, and never have to worry about any natural disaster doing damage. Thanks to them, we’ll be able to produce crops more efficiently and reliably in the future.
The Woman in India Who Owns 10 Private Planes!
This woman owns 10 private planes in India, but she isn’t allowed to fly them. As a kid she always dreamed of flying planes, but her parents, her friends, and pretty much everyone around her told her she couldn’t! Those objections never managed to stop her from chasing her dream. “If I can’t fly planes, then I’ll just own them.” So she started an “Uber for the skies,” and she made it work. When someone tells your dream NO, turn it into a YES!
Stories like these, from all over the world, play out every single day on Nas Daily. If you’re looking for short videos that actually mean something, maybe a little inspirational, maybe something to broaden your horizons, then give the Nas Daily channel a try. It just might open your eyes.
